Visit of Mayor Stefan Bosse to SCHLEIFRING Kaufbeuren

Stephan Bode, Chairman and Managing Director of Schleifring GmbH, proudly presented the new building in Leonard-Kluftinger-Straße together with his colleague and the plant manager from Kaufbeuren. In a detailed tour of the innovative industrial building, Stephan Bode thanked Mayor Stefan Bosse for the opportunities that the city of Kaufbeuren had granted SCHLEIFRING, such as the specially re-planned access road to the new delivery hall. "We support where we can when companies create secure jobs in the region in addition to promising technologies." the mayor of Kaufbeuren praised the construction project.

The company invested around 20 million euros in the Kaufbeuren site, where slip rings for computer tomographs and baggage scanner subsystems are primarily manufactured. The sustainable building concept includes, among other things, a photovoltaic system covering the entire roof surface, a wood pellet heating system, modern machinery for the manufacture of high-quality and, above all, durable products and, in addition to the company parking spaces that have been created, 30 expansion options for e-charging points.

To the surprise of the hosts, the Lord Mayor, for whom a company parking space had been specially reserved, arrived on an e-bike from the municipal vehicle pool. "I prefer to attend all appointments in and around the city on two wheels," said Bosse. Stephan Bode also emphasized that SCHLEIFRING values the resources entrusted to the company.

SCHLEIFRING places the highest value on the use of high-quality materials and the latest manufacturing processes in order to achieve and maintain the goal of durability for its products. Technological advances enable the company to offer low-maintenance, high-quality slip rings, saving effort and energy consumption for the end customer. The market leader constantly questions and improves its processes, trains its employees and lives its awareness of the resources and environment entrusted to it.

"Our vision lies in technical progress and continuous development. This applies equally to our products and to our employees," says Bode. In addition to an annual wage and salary round, a 13th month's salary, shift bonuses, supplementary company health insurance and a pension allowance, SCHLEIFRING employees will also be offered a job bike in 2024. There is now room for a total of 160 employees at the Kaufbeuren site. Some positions are still unfilled, and the company is looking forward to receiving meaningful applications to support the specialist staff from the production area in the future.
