To allow us to handle all customer enquiries quickly and efficiently, in recent years we have expanded our four locations: SCHLEIFRING China, SCHLEIFRING USA, the headquarters in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany and the production facility in Kaufbeuren, Germany. Besides additional office space and production areas, seven new laboratories have been created in order to drive the technological progress forward.
In the spring of 2022, following the enlargement in 2007, work on the next extension of the production site in Kaufbeuren was finally started. SCHLEIFRING has been located in the Kaufbeuren business park since 1997. On an area of 3,500 m², additional administration, production and storage areas were created as well as a large production building with a state-of-the-art machine park for the production of subsystems for baggage scanners as well as gantry systems for CT scanners. The new areas are used for workplaces for intermediate and final assembly, for machining centers in the field of 5-axis milling and turning technology, for logistics, forming technology, and for a polyurethane injection molding plant for the manufacture of highly filled and evacuated plastic components. SCHLEIFRING is investing €10 million in the new construction and in the expansion of the machine park and is creating 160 new workplaces.
Furthermore, since 2020 the slip ring manufacturer Electro-Miniatures Corporation in the USA has been part of the SCHLEIFRING Group.
We are urgently looking for extra staff who can start work immediately in all areas of production at our plant in Kaufbeuren.
