Training at SCHLEIFRING as an Industrial Mechanic or Machining Mechanic (m/f/d)

The training of an industrial mechanic or machining mechanic (m/f/d) lasts 3.5 years. In a specially equipped training workshop, the apprentices receive their basic training together, step by step, in turning, milling, assembly and many other skills up to and including CNC-controlled production. They increase their skills year after year to be able to take on more and more demanding tasks and projects. In addition, they pass through various departments, such as mechanical production or assembly, to experience individual production steps of a slip ring in a practical way and, above all, to consolidate the basics they have learned.

The requirements for these training courses are a good qualified secondary school leaving certificate, spatial imagination, mathematical and technical understanding, and manual dexterity and – quite clearly – the joy of working in a team.
