Particularly designed for industrial control equipment in the
pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries, SCHLEIFRING offers
self-contained capsule slip ring standard solutions with stainless
steel housing. All versions are resistant to water and dust ingress
acc. (industrial protection class IP 65 EN 60529) and designed to
operate in a temperature range up to +70°C.
Standard Series F
The total system offers
plenty of options for any combination with the slip ring. As a classic
example the integration of an axial 1-channel media joint for oil,
water, gas, compressed air etc. for 1/4”, 1/8” or 1/2” as well as media
joints for channels in more dimensions. As a
total approach, the system also offers electronic options as the
integration of specific solutions for the data line control in
Bus-systems.

SCHLEIFRING is the leading developer and manufacturer of rotating
couplers in every sphere of measure and control technology used in the
pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.
Classic examples for the application of slip ring technology are
bottling machines, packaging machines as well as any kind of production
facilities demanding multi-million fold repetition of all-purpose
and precision movements. Fixed connections via cables can only be
applied for systems with a limited angle of rotation. For continuous
rotation of 360 ° slip rings or rotary joints are required. These slip
rings and rotary joints facilitate the supply of power, the
transmission of electrical signals, industrial Databus-signals (such as
Interbus, Profibus, Asi-Bus, Fast-Ethernet, Gigabit-Ethernet), optical
signals as well as media (compressed air, cooling fluids and other)
from a stationary to a rotating plane and vice versa. Obviously the
quality of the slip ring is a key factor in the quality of the overall
system.
