Interface: Slip ring @ Ethernet communication

09.03.2009: the new G-Series : Bus data transmission up to 200 MBit/s

The G-Series offer highest flexibility for the transmission of electrical power, signals, BUS data and video for many demanding rotating applications. An additional option range of media rotary joints for air, water and oil complete this series.
Although predominantly slip rings utilizing precious metal sliding contact technology, SCHLEIFRING exclusively offers non-contacting transmission technologies for both power and high data rate transmission, including all common bus systems up to Gigabit Ethernet and EtherCAT.
These rotating couplers - whether based on a worldwide-patented capacitive non-contacting transmission technology for data rates from 2 MBit/s up to 10 GBit/s , or based on an inductive technology for voltage transmission of 24V / 48V and power transmission of 250W, 500W und 1000W – are available separately or in combination, according to customers' needs.
The new standard B-Series of capacitive non-contacting data transmission for all common BUS systems: CAN-Bus, Profibus through to Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, EtherCAT and customer specific bus systems in combination with an inductive non-contacting power transmission make for an extensive portfolio of products for industrial applications.
Advantages of non-contacting technologies: wear-resistance, high noise immunity combined with excellent EMC performance, high reliability and bit error rates of <10-13.
