PRESSURE COMPENSATED 4 to 21 pass Micro-optical Rotary Joint Single-Mode and Multi-Mode
Underwater/ deep sea applications like ROVs (Remotely Operated
Vehicles) and observation systems require demanding solutions and an
unparalleled level of precision and technical reliability even under
extreme temperatures, shock and vibration.
For submerged and pressure compensated use in depths of 4.000 meters
respectively pressures up to 6 000 psi (400 bar) SCHLEIFRING offers two
variations:
- Full system: Fluid-filled and pressure compensated up to 6 000 psi (400bar)
- Open system: For integration into any
existing oil pressure system. Various custom specified fluid types can be used with this pressure compensated FORJ.
- Pressure tight system including dynamic seals for dry use up to 3 000 psi (200 bar).
With transmission of data rates > 10 GBit/s and a rotational speed
of 100 rpm the slip ring unit allows for extremely low insertion loss
of < 3.5 dB valid for all channels.
Hybrid units
The combination of electrical slip rings, media rotary joints and fiber
optical rotary joints for submergence applications are available as
open system as well as full system.
