Plastic resin technology plays a key role in the manufacturing of slip
ring modules. SCHLEIFRING’s Kaufbeuren Plant recently commissioned a
new dispensing and mixing system. This latest innovative production
asset is integrated with a vacuum system for continuous dispensing and
consistent mixing, whilst simultaneously degassing different components
as dry filler material (up to 150 µm) with a liquid binding agent for
the production of fully evacuated mixtures.
Pour capacity: 3 to 6 kg/ min
The rail mounted system is a fully integrated, electrically
manoeuvrable as well as being revolve-capable over 360°. A
PC-controlled and monitored system with online documentation and data
archive storage is also included.
The formulation is invariably PC controlled and program monitored.
The core functions are continuously online monitored by sensors.
Automatic drop dead halt procedure at failure are also incorporated.
Our intentions are to configure the machine for the medium-term
expansion of the platter and cylindrical module serial production.
